Barbara Webster, EdS, MS is a National Certified Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma with experience working as a mental health therapist and as a school counselor in elementary, middle, high school, and university levels for over 25 years. She is also a National Certified School Counselor and National Certified Career Counselor with a Bachelors Degree from Kent State, a Masters Degree from Missouri State University, a second Masters in School Psychology and an Education Specialist Certification in Multicultural Assessment from University of Colorado at Denver, and two years at the doctoral level in Administration from Oklahoma State University. Barbara is a current adjunct professor at University of Oklahoma and an ordained minister with past experiences as a Sunday school teacher, vacation Bible school Director, and church camp director & counselor. Barbara has eight years experience working with Domestic violence parents and children, and trauma based counseling. Barbara’s current passions are play and art therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).Barbara uses CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) as an approach to therapy in an empathic, safe, non-judgmental setting.

In addition to maintaining a vibrant clinical practice, Barbara is an Adjunct Professor in the Human Relations Graduate Department at the University of Oklahoma. She is currently teaching two courses: Diverse Populations and Women and Mental Health.

Barbara accepts most insurances, including: BCBS, Healthchoice, Aetna, Aetna EAP, Cigna, WebTPA, ChampVA, Healthcare Highways, Tricare, FEI, and NPHO- Norman Physicians Health Organization.

Her current private pay rate is $150 for initial intake session, $110/50 minute session and $130/session if using insurance.
